About Mary Beth "MB" Moran, LMT
I have been a licensed massage therapist in Pennsylvania for 4 years, but I started my career in massage therapy in 2010 as an ESMT (Equine Sports Massage Therapist), graduating from Equissage in 2010 to receive my certificate in Equine Sports Massage. I did some part-time work as an ESMT, mainly on friends' horses. I really enjoyed it, and thought that I should go one step farther to become a licensed massage therapist, and make this a full time career.
In 2013, I graduated from Cortiva Institute Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy. I have since worked with chiropractors, at spas, and cross fit gyms as a massage therapist. I specialize in deep tissue, trigger point, and sports massage therapies. I love helping people feel better, increase their range of motion, and help their bodies heal themselves.
In addition to graduating from Cortiva with 650 hours of training, I keep up with continuing education that believe will benefit my clients. Some of the training has included Sports Massage, Active Isolated Stretching, an FMT certification with RockTape Kinesiology Tape in both RockTape and RockBlades IASTM Therapy, and Upledger Craniosacral Therapy. I customize each session with my clients to meet the goals of the client, as well as reading what is happening in the body, so I can relieve any pain or restrictions I find. My goal is to make sure that after each session, the client feels they have had time to relax while I helped relieve any restrictions or pain, and helped their body heal itself.
